The disciplines we use to maintain our health can be applied to our desire to build our wealth. Many people want to improve their physical or financial fitness, but the work required can deter them from making the first move. To stay consistent, and disciplined, even when motivation is lacking, requires determination and resiliency. It means not throwing in the towel when the results don’t add up as quickly as we would like them to.

We’ve seen many clients fight through tough economic times and personal circumstances that seemed all but impossible, but the thing is, they knew it was better for them to keep going rather than to stay where they were. The result of sticking to a plan and pushing past hardship is resilience that can carry through for a lifetime.

Life benefits of overcoming hardship:

  • We discover what is truly important to us.
  • We recognize success is the result of our daily habits.
  • We learn to ask for help in the areas where we need it the most.

As we all face inflation and other uncertainties in the market, it’s even more essential that we remain calm and lean on our resiliency to allow for future growth.

Our plans may need to be adjusted, but having the ability to see past the negative to shift and continue to pursue our goals and passions regardless, is priceless.

Besides remaining consistent during tough times, our health and our wealth also require us to focus internally instead of only externally. We can’t compare our situation to anyone else’s. Our goals shouldn’t look like our neighbor’s or the highlight reel on Instagram, because we are all unique and so are our goals!

When working toward goals in any area of life, it’s important to keep track of progress. Record the starting point and maintain check-ins along the way. Remembering how far we’ve come is essential during the times when we might want to quit, or motivation is lacking. Mapping the small wins along the way can help build our confidence to continue to work towards our health, and our wealth goals, no matter what obstacles we are facing.

No matter where we are on our WELLth™ building journey, we can all benefit from extra support and accountability. Our LIVE WELLthy™ Facebook group is a fantastic place to connect with others, and get added inspiration, tips and more to help keep us moving forward.
